The TacMed™ Responder Armor System is provides increased protection when the agency or individual wants further protection. The cummerbund meets the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) protocols standard nationwide.

The cummerbund can be transformed into a complete side armor system with the addition of soft armor panels for Level IIIA coverage or hard armor plates. This flexibility means the stopping power you select for the main coverage area on your carrier can be extended across the entire torso.

This item offers extensive armor coverage area with 216 square inches of possible protection in the front and the back. It also quickly transforms to a shield configuration for further protection.
