Supporting Our First Responders Act (HR 8994)

The passage of this bill would establish an EMS grant program, open to public and private, non-profit and for-profit ambulance services, providing funding for:

Salaries and stipends to increase the number of front-line EMS responders
Wellness and fitness programs for EMS personnel
Cost reimbursement for certification and recertification courses
Obtaining EMS vehicles, PPE, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment
Modifying or maintenance of facilities
