The MedSled evacuation is utilized by Fire and EMS crews to evacuate multi-storied buildings when elevators cannot be of use. The Med Sled rolls to 9in for easy storage on a truck or ambulance and can used to evacuate someone down the stairs with a tethered braking carabineer for a smooth descent down the stairs. The Med Sled's rigidity makes it safe for the rescued and the crew by reducing the risk of shifting weight.
