The LifeFlow PLUS Blood & Fluid Replacement Tubing set is usable only with the LifeFlow PLUS Infuser. After four or more units of blood the flow rate with the original tubing may start to slow. Using the replacement tubing set allows providers to continue to use the same LifeFlow PLUS infuser handle but swap in a new tubing set for higher flow rates. Note: the LifeFlow® PLUS Blood & Fluid Infuser is an easy- to-use portable device for treating critically ill patients in need of rapid and controlled infusion of blood or crystalloids.
