Hoover Headblock Head Immobilizer, Cardboard
The wrap-around design provides support/padding around patient’s head, while offering ample visual/tactile access to C-spine/ears. The high, wide, triangular supports on each side allow insertion of hands for stabilization during application, and do not require raising the patient’s head. Two wide foam strips allow you to safely secure your patient to the board without causing skin irritation when you remove the tape. For pediatric application, cut off the foam strips and add as necessary to retain support while still framing the ears. Treated with water-repellent finish. Assembly/application instructions are printed on each headblock, and they are shipped folded in compact shrink-wrapped package.
